• Need to pursue food allergy as an important area of research
• Need to study the prevalence and diagnosis of food allergy in India
• Emphasis also on food sensitization
• Project to be completed in 3 phases
• Standardization of questionnaire & diagnostic test
• Limited epidemiological survey
• Conduct a national level multi centric study
